FAQs

Travel questions, answered plainly.

Our number one goal is to get you to your destination on time, and in comfort. Here’s what people ask us most.

How do I buy my ticket? +

Call us at (651) 646-6900, email info@addistravel.net, send a request through the , or stop by the office on University Avenue. Tell us where you’re going and when, and we’ll quote you options. Once you choose one, we issue the ticket directly.

Do I need a passport to travel? +

For international travel, yes. Check the expiration date early — many countries require your passport to stay valid for at least six months beyond your travel dates, and renewals take time. Bring your passport details when you book so the name on your ticket matches exactly.

What about a visa? +

Visa requirements depend on your destination and on the passport you hold. Some countries issue on arrival, some require an application weeks ahead. Tell us your destination and we’ll tell you what to expect and where to apply.

Do I need travel insurance? +

It isn’t required, but it’s worth considering on long-haul trips — particularly for medical coverage abroad and for trip cancellation. Ask us and we’ll walk you through what the options cover.

Do I need a vaccination? +

Some destinations require proof of vaccination for entry, and others recommend certain vaccines. Requirements change, so confirm with your doctor or a travel clinic well before departure.

Can you book hotels as well as flights? +

Yes. Send us the city, your dates and who’s travelling through the and we’ll come back with options. If you’re booking flights with us too, mention it and we’ll line the dates up.

Where can I check travel warnings and safety? +

For current travel warnings and safety information, check with the U.S. Department of State at travel.state.gov.
